How Expensive Is the Maintenance of 1999 Audi A4?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: General Audi

I bought a 1999 Audi A4 133000 miles Recently, most of the bands changed the timing belt. I think the brakes were recently. Nothing seems to matter, except for flashing brake lights, even though the E is broken. The reason why I bought the car, I was incredibly much about them ($ 1875). Nice to meet you concerned about maintenance. How expensive can it be?

You should not have schedualed maintenance in the near future. You should probably visually on the vehicle and make sure that there are no small problems can turn to the larger ones. For $ 1875 I am willing to bet that something is wrong, so if you can not find it, and you can go to a mechanic to it. If everything is in order is your only maintenance is oil changes ($ 75 +) at most places.

Changing oil is not cost 75 dollars if RS4, and it is around $ 50-60. Regarding the flashing brake lights, they believe it can be a free wire. H20 pump and thermostat was changed when the timing belt do? They score business.

High miles on Audis is usually a bad thing. The problem with German cars is their reputation. Anyone who thinks that the maintenance is expensive, so it makes bascaly drive and Audi, that's too expensive. As long as nothing major goes wrong, you should be okay. I have a 2002 A4, and 2 months after I bought it, you need a new cylinder head gasket, which cost me almost $ 3000. Its good that the belts were replaced. In light of the ABS and airbag light. This is a common problem in the A4 is 98-2001. I feel that the car can cost a lot of money. 1875, and is too cheap. There probably something wrong. In any case, look at the mechanics. I had a mechanic look before you bought it tho.
